Question and Answer

Q1: What is your ideal working environment?

My ideal working environment is one in which people are nice to each other and know how to get along. Another important aspect for me would be clear goals. I need to know what I need to get done so I can focus on putting my best work into my required tasks. Things such as a checklist or a sticky note with things to do would be of great value to me.

Q3: What kind of personality do you work with the best?

I work the best with with someone who is understanding, but at the same time knows that things need to get done. This person would provide clear goals to achieve, but would not be breathing down your neck while you're getting them done. Also, a good co-worker/manager would have a sense of humor. Working with people with a good sense of humor can make the job more invigorating.

Q5:What do you like to do?

I love to find challenges everywhere I go. With old hobbies like basketball and track and field, I always challenge myself to do better at what I am already good at or what I am lacking at. On the other hand, I love to challenge myself to get better at hobbies that I get to spend less time on. Things such as fishing, skiing, hiking, and painting always pose new obstacles to me that I try to overcome to the best of my abilities.

Q6: What are three positive things your last boss would say about you?

My last boss would agree that I was hard working, trustworthy, and kind. I would always put my best effort into things that I was assigned to do, no matter what it was. I would always show up to work on time and never let down on something that was asked of me. Lastly, I would always do everything that I can to please the customer and make them feel welcomed into our workplace.

Q7: What negative thing would your last boss say about you?

My last boss would say that at some points I can get tunnel vision. I would get extremely focused on what task I had at hand and lose track of other aspects of the job. Nearing the end of my employment and even now I am working on fixing this problem. I have took measures to work on all aspects of the job and multi task to the best of my abilities. I am at the point now where the problem is obsolete.

Q9: How do you feel about taking no for an answer?

I believe saying no is almost better than saying yes in some cases. Saying no shows you want to be better or you want someone else to be better. Saying no can help what you are working on improve create a better product or offer a better service. When people get told no they tend to shut down, while I try to see that as a positive and take into consideration why I was told no and what I can do to get a yes.

Q2: What tools do you use to keep organized?

I use binders with tabs to keep my papers organized. Personally, at my home I keep things in separate containers. For example, I keep things for employment in one container while things for school in another. I have found the biggest thing for me and organization is labeling. When things are labeled they are much more easy to find and keep track of.

Q4: What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my accomplishments in becoming an Eagle Scout and being a 2 sport varsity athlete. Becoming these things has prepared me for the real world. I have learned valuable life skills such as leadership, integrity, and honestly while participating in Boy Scouts. Basketball and Track and Field have taught me resilience, persistence, and people skills.

Q8: Why did you chose your major?

I absolutely love sports and the message they bring to the youth. I also consider myself I good people person and can communicate well with others. Physical Therapy is a great chance to combine those two positive traits that I have. During the job I get to combine both those amazing qualities and help people get back to sports or what they love.

Q10: What kind of car do you drive?

I drive a Mazda Mazda6 touring. This car is very reliable and will allow me to get to work and back efficiently. It is big enough to car poo with other co workers so we can all get to work on time. I am grateful for this car and I hope that my co workers would like it just as much as I do.
